Present

Hi there, I'm Nicholas Cole, a Graphic Designer / Web Developer based in Melbourne, Australia.

I have been designing & developing websites, web applications, brands, brochures, and other creative / digital works on a full-time and freelance basis for nearly 10 years. In this time I have had the pleasure of working on a vast array of projects for clients in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Tokyo & London and have a proven track record of designing, developing & implementing successful on and off-line projects.

Past

I made my start in the creative industries back in 1996 studying graphic design & multimedia at the Queensland College of Art. Later relocating to Sydney I scored my first position working as a graphic designer for a digital print and signage company.

Relocating back to Brisbane two years later I worked abundantly for 5 years as lead designer / developer for a private college developing a variety of websites, online learning applications, course guides & brochures, and brand management for three associated sister colleges. 5 years later I realised it was time to seek new opportunities so relocated to Melbourne - the creative hub of Australia.

Future

Since my move to Melbourne in 2006 I have worked for a rock solid company (who I still work for), have freelanced for a variety of companies and have been lucky enough to travel to many countries and cities around the world. I have also become a keen cyclist and avid photographer...
